LIVOX spol. s r.o., a purely Czech company, was founded in 1992 and has more than thirty years of experience in the printing solutions, document digitalisation and multifunctional devices market. Livox is a regional partner of XEROX Czech Republic, offering sales, service and rental of XEROX multifunction devices as well as installation and support for security, monitoring and scanning software. In addition to printing machines, it also offers finishing machines, cutters, binders, shredders and other office supplies. The company was founded in Liberec, where it is still based, but takes care of customers from all over the Czech Republic.
LIVOX spol. s r.o. also operates a well-equipped copy centre in Liberec with a professional approach and the possibility of creating graphics according to customer requirements. An independent evaluation of its services has found customers to be extremely satisfied.

What is your main business area? Please briefly introduce your company.
Livox has been a partner of the multifunction machine manufacturer Xerox for more than thirty years and is therefore associated with both hardware and today also software. Among other things Livox rents, services and sells multifunctional equipment. The company is based in Liberec, but often takes care of customers in Prague, and is able to successfully complete any order if enough staff and resources are at hand.
When and how did you start working with the OptimiDoc team?
We got to OptimiDoc through Xerox, for whom we are the regional representative. At this point, OptimiDoc has already moved forward and offers its products for all brands and is, as we say, multi-brand. However, this was not the case in the past. Since we have been working together from the very beginning, for eleven years now, OptimiDoc used to only offer printing and scanning solutions for Xerox multifunction machines.
Why did you decide to become a close partner of OptimiDoc?
The software suits us, both in terms of functionality, setup and installation at the customer‘s site. Everything is easy, fast and efficient. For me its software makes sense, pure and simple. An excellent choice.
How satisfied are you with OptimiDoc in general?
I think the relationships are solid. This is of course related to the fact that we have known and worked together for many years. We can rely on each other and know exactly what to expect from the cooperation and this is very pleasant.
Which part of the OptimiDoc team do you find most beneficial? (R&D, Sales, Technical support, Back office)
I‘ve known the CEO Bronislav Šopík for many years and we built the relationship based on trust and helpfulness, but it‘s not just about my relationship with him. I can‘t complain about any piece of your corporate puzzle. When I have an issue that needs to be dealt with, your customer support is always there. If I have a problem with product deployment, anyone from the OptimiDoc team or anyone who has done affiliate sales of your product in the past can advise me.
How do you rate OptimiDoc products?
The products are very simple to set up. We only focused on the server for years before you came up with the Cloud. We have a lot of experience with the server and now with the cloud. The main advantage is simplicity and functionality. It just works! For me, as the person who installs and maintains it at the customer‘s site, it‘s easy. And that’s why our clients recommend us.
What is the specific nature of the Czech market in terms of the transition from server to Cloud? Is the Czech market open to it?
The Czech market is a bit specific in this respect, because people are always looking at price tags. Of course the Cloud is more costly compared to a server. The server has the advantage that even if the client does not pay for support, it still works in the old version without updating. Sometimes it‘s complicated. Recently, it‘s made it easier for us to deploy MS Office 365 because people are moving to the cloud with software, OneDrive and Sharepoint, so then it makes a lot of
sense for them.
What is your business strategy now? Do you primarily offer customers cloud solutions or do you still offer on-premise solutions?
We offer both platforms. Due to the fact that we started with a server years ago, 90% of our clients are renewing licences and running on hardware. We test new customers on both platforms and offer solutions according to their needs. If the company uses the MS Office 365 platform, then it is easier to offer a Cloud solution.
Can you describe an interesting business order that you and OptimiDoc have implemented together?
All orders are interesting for us and we have customers across all segments and of all sizes. But one case does to mind, we installed an on-premise solution in one company in Central Bohemia, where variable symbols, invoice numbers, and other data were crucial for them. We have deployed OptimiDoc on six machines, it is now running seamlessly and the solution pulls in the required data without anyone having to interfere. It makes a lot of sense to me and it means added value for our customer.
We installed a cloud solution at a law firm who needed editable pdf files of signed contracts. It‘s not just about locking up the machine and providing security, it‘s about giving the customer a real benefit and making their work more efficient. They also use the customer‘s metadata and collect important data from scanned contracts, which they then use further. This customer ultimately doesn‘t even use machine locking and benefits most from the scanning part of this cloud solution.
Overall, I can say that OptimiDoc is really strong in terms of scanning, and if the customer knows how to take advantage it brings them many
benefits.
