OptimiDoc Cloud brings several significant improvements and new features that will enhance the user experience and expand the possibilities for document and print management. The 24.12 update includes the following key points:

User Interface (UI) Improvements

Based on feedback from partners, we have decided to improve the user interface of OptimiDoc Cloud. The main changes include:

Rebranding of the authentication screen

Adding the company logo or background image can help customers dress printers to company colours.

Copy and device menu icons

We added the icons for the copy and device menu directly to the OptimiDoc Cloud application. Users can now go directly to the copy or device menu without additional steps.

Lexmark integration

With this integration, Lexmark devices can operate seamlessly within the OptimiDoc Cloud environment, offering complete functionality without needing dedicated servers or local appliances.

Customers can now harness features such as device authentication, print management, and document capture with nothing more than an Internet connection.

Other improvements

The 24.12 update introduces several new features designed to simplify user access management and increase security: The 24.12 update introduces several new features designed to simplify user access management and increase security:

  • Import PIN/card from EntraID and Google Workspace: Extended user synchronization with the ability to import PIN and cards from standard and custom attributes. This feature simplifies the management of user access and increases security by enabling centralized management of authentication data. 
  • Filtering users by license: A new option to filter users by assigned license. This feature allows administrators to more efficiently manage user access and optimise license usage. 
  • Reporting Manager – a new role in OptimiDoc Cloud. A user with this role will have access to the entire reporting section without additional administrative options. This role allows specialized users to access essential data and reports without having access to other administrative functions.
